Expressions workshops - perfect for people who love flowers

If you have a real passion for flowers but are perhaps not completely confident working with them or if you simply want some inspiration and a couple of hours of fun you'll love our workshops.

At Expressions we run seasonal courses which offer you the chance to come and develop your skills and master interesting new techniques.. We cater for all abilities from beginners to the more experienced. Our classes are relaxed and informal, you will have great fun learning how to make beautiful designs that you can take home with you at the end of the evening.

Each workshop costs forty pounds this Includes tuition by Julie Amies-Carter NDSF and the team at Expressions, flower materials (inc sundries/ containers if applicable) and refreshments.

Thursday 1st July- Summertime Inspirations 5pm-8pm

Competing in local shows is not only an opportunity to use your abilities in floral design but it is an opportunity to get really creative. This work shop looks at local schedules and how to go about creating a winning design. Here are a few pictures of three of the designs made on the evening, it was enjoyed by all and even topped off with strawberries and cream. ..

Thursday 30th September- Autumn Expressions 5pm-8pm

In this workshop, we explore making designs without floral foam and concentrate on making structures and wall Hangings. We will use a mix of dried and fresh material to create, a truly autumnal, floral expression.

Thursday 16th December - Christmas Creations 5pm-8pm

This popular workshop will again look at new designs for the table at Christmas as well as be a relaxed night away from all that Christmas preparation.
